United Arab Emirates Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a meeting on Thursday with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian.
Both sides discussed the strategic ties between the UAE and France during the meeting as well as ways of reinforcing and developing their overall cooperation.
They also discussed various developments in the region and several regional and international issues of common interest, including the situation in Libya.
