The Executive Secretary of the United NationsConvention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) Ibrahim Thiao praised the Ministryof Environment, Water and Agriculture's successful efforts to rehabilitatevegetation in some locations.
This came during a meeting with Undersecretaryof the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture for Environment Dr. OsamaFakiha.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperationin the areas of combating desertification and land degradation, in addition theviews on the National Center for Plant Development and CombatingDesertification.
