UNICEF Thanks Saudi Arabia for its Humanitarian Role towards Children in Yemen

Executive Director of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Henrietta Fore expressed thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in a letter sent to the KSrelief, represented by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).

The UNICEF’s thanks comes for the KSrelief’s generous support that it announced through implementing seven diverse projects with cost of $46 million for Yemen, within the framework of the United Nations Humanitarian Response Plan in Yemen 2020. The support will help the UNICEF to provide support to the children and their families, in the fields of health, nutrition, water and sanitation, education and protection, as well as to combat the Coronavirus, in Yemen, by training health personnel and providing medical and other supplies, she concluded.
