The Ambassador of the United Statesof America to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, John Abizaid and his accompanyingdelegation met here yesterday with Chairman of Tabuk Commerce andIndustry Chamber Ahmed bin Atiyyah Al-Harthi and a number of the Chamber'smembers and businesspersons in the region.
Al-Harthi welcomed the Ambassador,stressing the depth and strength of historical relations between the twocountries, adding that this visit is an opportunity to review with the Americanside the most important economic reports that the Chamber of Commerce isworking on in Tabuk region, given its adjacent location to the Kingdom's giantprojects.
For his part, the Ambassador saidthat we must all double efforts to serve mega projects that the Kingdom iswitnessing, especially in its future projects, which Tabuk is considered as thecenter of them, and we are ready to participate in these projects, adding thatin view of investment laws and regulations in the Kingdom we can understand theflexibility and quality of work in favor of investors between our twocountries, in addition to the aspects and vitality of the Saudi economy inwhich the Kingdom pursues a wise economic policy.
He added that we will work tostrengthen relations between our two countries to serve mega projects in SaudiArabia, praising historical and close ties and relations between the twocountries at all levels, expressing the aspiration to continue efforts to advancethe wheel of development between the two countries, and achieve the Kingdom'sambitious vision of an attractive economic region.
