US Expresses Concern over Houthi Militia’s Continued Attacks on Saudi Arabia

The United States of America has expressed its deep concern over Houthi Militia's continued attacks on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

"We call on the Houthis to immediately cease attacks impacting civilian areas inside Saudi Arabia and to halt any new military offensives inside Yemen, which only bring more suffering to the Yemeni people," the U.S. Department of State Spokesperson Ned Price said in a statement.

"We urge the Houthis to refrain from destabilizing actions and demonstrate their commitment to constructively engage in UN Special Envoy Griffiths' efforts to achieve peace. The time is now to find an end to this conflict," the statement added.

Official Spokesman of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Brigadier General Turki Al-Malki said in a statement on Sunday that "Joint Coalition Forces have intercepted and destroyed this evening two additional bomb-laden UAVs.

A total of (4) bomb-laden UAVs launched systematically and deliberately by the terrorist Houthi militia to target civilians and civilian objects in the Southern Region have been destroyed on Sunday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
