Washington reveals aerial photographs of terrorist attacks on Aramco plants

According to Reuters, Washington published satellite-taken aerial photographs that it said were of smoke plumes of the Abqaiq and Higrat Khurais oil plants in Saudi Arabia, which were targeted by drones.

While US officials said that there are evidences suggested that the attacks were carried out with cruise missiles, either from Iraq or Iran.

The information also indicates that the attack was not by drones from Yemen, while photographs also showed that the attack targeted 17 sites within the targeted oil plants in the two sites of Aramco; Abqaiq and Higrat Khurais.

The Houthi terrorist group in Yemen claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack on Aramco's oil plants in Abqaiq and Higrat Khurais.

Reactions to the terrorist attacks on two Saudi Aramco plants in the east of Saudi Arabia, which halted half of Saudi oil exports and dealt a blow to the global economy continued.

The strongest reaction was that of the White House, which threatened to intervene against Iran in the event of any attack on Saudi Arabia.

US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he had allowed a drawdown of strategic oil reserves if necessary, because of the terrorist attack on two oil plants in Saudi Arabia.

"Based on the attack on Saudi Arabia, which may have an impact on oil prices, I have authorized the release of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, if needed, in a to-be-determined amount sufficient to keep the markets well-supplied. I have also informed all appropriate agencies to expedite approvals of the oil pipelines currently in the permitting process in Texas and various other States," Trump said on Twitter.

On Saturday evening, Prince Mohammad bin Salman, Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense, received a telephone call from US President Donald Trump, after the terrorist attack that targeted two Aramco oil plants in Saudi Arabia at Saturday dawn.

The US President stressed his country's readiness to cooperate with the Kingdom in all that supports its security and stability, stressing the negative impact of these attacks on the US economy as well as the global economy.

For his part, the Crown Prince stressed that the Kingdom has the will and ability to confront and deal with this terrorist attack.
