Yemen discusses urgent humanitarian aid with World Food Program

Yemeni Prime Minister Moin Abdul-Malik held talks with Deputy Regional Director of the World Food Program (WFP) Ali Qureshi on ways to ease the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.

According to the official Yemeni News Agency, Abdul Malik confirmed his government was keen to strengthen the partnership with the World Food Program to alleviate the humanitarian tragedy caused by the war sparked by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia.

 He added that the Yemeni government is ready to provide the necessary assistant to the World Food program to play its role in delivering urgent humanitarian assistance to the affected people in different areas of the country.
