Vice Speaker of theYemeni parliament Abdulaziz Jabari said that Iran has contributed in aggravatingthe situation in Yemen, through backing up pro-coup Houthi militia, byproviding them with logistics back-up, training, media propaganda and arms.
Addressing a symposiumheld at the US Capitol Hill organized by the Yemeni embassy here, hedecried Iran backed Houthi militia activities as they pose threat to theregional security, namely in Bab Al-Mandab Strait.
Jabari called on theUS Congress to denounce Houthi militia's violations and to keep pressuring theIranian regime into subjecting to peace process and reactivate relevant worldresolutions and laws.
